Fried Apples are cooked in butter, warm spices, and brown sugar, making the perfect side dish ready in less than 30 minutes.
Add 1/2 cup of apple juice, cornstarch, and sugars to a blender. Pulse for 3-second increments until smooth.
Place a large skillet over medium heat and add the remaining 2 cups of apple juice, butter, apple pie spice, and a pinch of salt.
Add the apples to the bottom of the pan and distribute them evenly.
Bring the mixture to a simmer, and reduce the heat to a simmer, cook the apples until they are fork-tender. Turn them every couple of minutes, for a total of 10-15 minutes. Do not overcook.
Using a slotted spoon remove the apples from the pan, to a large bowl.
Slowly add the cornstarch mixture to the pan and whisk for a few minutes until the sauce thickens and bubbles.
Turn off the heat, add the apple, gently toss and serve immediately.
