Ingredients
  • 1 loaf French or Challah bread thickly sliced
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup eggnog
  • 2 tablespoons light brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 4 tablespoons butter divided, for cooking

  • Powdered sugar
Instructions
  1. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, eggnog, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg.

  3. Cook until golden (about 2-3 minutes each side), then flip and cook until golden on the other side too. Add the remaining butter and cook the remaining slices.

  4. Serve the Eggnog French Toast slices topped with maple syrup, berries and some powdered sugar.
