Ingredients
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 yellow onion diced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 8 oz. wide egg noodles
  • 5 cups green cabbage about 1/2 cabbage cut into wide strips
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth or water
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
  1. In a large pot over medium-high heat add the oil and saute the onion until soft and browned about 5-6 minutes.
  2. Add garlic, paprika, oregano, and thyme, saute for 30 seconds.
  3. Add Worcestershire sauce, sliced cabbage, season with salt and pepper.
  4. Saute until cabbage has browned and then add 1/4 cup of chicken broth. Sauté until the cabbage is tender, about 15 minutes.
  5. In the meantime, bring a pot of water to a boil and cook the noodles per package directions. Drain and set aside.
  6. Once the cabbage is tender, stir in the noodles. Add butter, and season with salt and pepper.
  7. Serve garnished with chopped parsley.
