Ingredients
  • 12 slices bacon chopped
  • 1 large onion chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 head large green cabbage roughly chopped
  • 1 cup broth chicken broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
  1. Place a large, heavy-bottom skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Once hot add the bacon and cook stirring until crispy and nicely browned.
  3. Remove to a plate and discard the grease, leaving in only about 2 tablespoons.
  4. Add onion and cook for 4 minutes. Add garlic, cook one more minute.
  5. Next, add the cabbage and cook for another 5-7 minutes.
  6. Pour the broth on top, season with salt and pepper, cover, and cook for 5-7 minutes or until tender.
  7. Mix in the bacon and cook uncovered for 5 minutes.
  8. Taste and adjust for salt and pepper and serve.
