Chicken Stroganoff is creamy and hearty, loaded with thick egg noodles and juicy mushrooms. This easy weeknight dinner is ready in about 30 minutes.
Cook egg noodles per box directions. Drain, toss with a drizzle of oil and set aside.
In the meantime, place a large, 10 inch cast iron skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add butter and melt.
Add mushrooms, onions and garlic and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until tender. Remove from skillet to a small bowl, set aside.
Stir in cooked egg noodles or serve on top of noodles.
