EASY PEANUT BUTTER MOUSSE
Easy Peanut Butter Mousse is made with just 3 ingredients in less than 5 minutes. Perfect to tame a quick peanut butter craving!
Easy Peanut Butter Mousse is that type of dessert that can become addicting. The mousse takes only 5 minutes to whip and is made with just 3 ingredients, well, 4 if you decide to add vanilla too! It can’t get any easier, and this Easy Peanut Butter Mousse is the perfect fix to a peanut butter craving. The mousse is very creamy, with a fabulous peanut butter flavor, I love to serve it dusted with cocoa powder and a few crunchy, salty peanuts on top!
Recommendations for the perfect Easy Peanut Butter Mousse Recipe:
- Make sure you use full fat heavy whipping cream.
- The cream should be very cold, straight from the fridge.
- The mixing bowl, for best results, should be very cold as well. Pop it in the freezer for 10-15 minutes, before you start making the mousse.
- I used peanut butter powder, don’t substitute with regular peanut butter.
- You can add more or less sugar based on your own preference.
- This dessert is also gluten free.
Tools/Ingredients I use to make this Easy Peanut Butter Mousse Recipe:
- Peanut Butter Powder – if you ever wondered how and where you can use that peanut butter powder you see now everywhere, it is perfect in this recipe and also in all sorts of peanut butter frostings.
- Cuisinart Mixer – I have a Cuisinart Mixer, that I got roughly 5 years ago and I swear by it. Best mixer ever! Also, this one in chrome is stunning!

Dessert
Cuisine:
American
Servings: 2
Ingredients
- 2 cups full fat heavy whipping cream cold
- 1/3 cup powdered sugar
- 6 tablespoons peanut butter powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla optional
Instructions
-
For best results, chill the mixing bowl for 10 minutes, before making the mousse.
-
Add all the ingredients to the bowl of a high speed mixer and whisk on medium high until stiff peaks form, stopping once to scrape the sides of the bowl with a spatula.
-
Make sure not to over mix, the mixture will be grainy if you do. The mixture should resemble stiff clouds, billowy peaks, not runny, and it should hold on well to the whisk, also if should be easy to pipe it.
-
Scoop or pipe into 2 serving glasses.
-
For best results, refrigerate for 20-40 minutes before serving.
-
Optional: dust with cocoa powder and garnish with chopped, salted peanuts right before serving.
-
Store in the fridge for up to 2 days.
-
Enjoy!

Has anyone used real peanut butter

It’s pretty good. Not overly sweet, which my wife likes, but basically peanut butter flavored whipped cream.
